Аннотация: Ekaterinburg is undertaking a major project aimed at renewing and expanding green space in the city. Urban street and park furniture and decoration nearly always found in any metropolis. The installation of wooden outdoor furniture cannot be haphazard, but integrated into the overall landscaping of the "Green City" project - a major priority of the city authorities of Ekaterinburg. This article provides information about the system and the structure of the green endowment (or the “given assets”) of Ekaterinburg, the structure of the woodland and the main ways it can be preserved and developed as in the strategic project “Green City”. As the environmental situation is deteriorating, woodland’s sanitary-and-hygienic, health-improvement, aesthetic and other functions are becoming key issues. The goal of the project is to preserve and develop the city's green endowment and to enhance the environment for the quality of life and the recreation of citizens. It relies on all types of green space being maintained in an optimal state, and enhanced with outdoor wooden furniture and sculpture.
