| dc.description.abstract | The problem of accumulation and utilization of food waste is growing with the growth of the population's wealth and high level of consumer behavior. Expansion of the range of manufactured products, primarily products with a short shelf life, which is partially spent on transportation, storage and actually leaves no possibility of its preservation for end consumers. Food losses are observed not only in retail and food outlets, but at all stages of production. Therefore, it is necessary to keep track of them and look for ways to reduce them. Food sharing acts as a new, innovative way to reduce food losses and reduce environmental damage from the growth of food waste consumption. Foreign experience of implementing food sharing projects has shown their effectiveness and contribution to sustainable development of society. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences. | en |
