Larvae of four instars are described in the little known leaf beetle Chrysolina sahlbergiana Jacobson from the Minussinsk hollow. Artemisia spp. is recorded as a host plant. Short setae on small scleritoides distinguish the describing larva from those in species of the subgenus. According to this character, this larva is close to larvae in species of the arcto-alpine subgenera Chrysolina Motsch. The species is attributed as a trans-Sayan hollow-steppe petrophylous species.en
