Abstract: Object of research of article are axial force at grind of fibrous materials taking into account unevenness of an inter bar gap between plates of rotor and stator of refiner. The mathematical model is developed for determination of axial force. Pilot studies showed adequacy to the developed mathematical model. The mistake between theoretical and pilot studies does not exceed 15%. The variable factors influencing axial force in refiners are investigated. At a distortion and beating of plate of refiner the axial force and power of the drive decrease. And the more the distortion and beating of plate, stronger decreases the axial force and power of the drive of refiner. As diagnostic signs of distortion and beating of plate it is possible to use the axial force and power of drive of refiner. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
