Abstract: A series of nickel(II) complexes based novel mono- and bis-formazan ligands has been synthesized and characterized with IR, UV, NMR spectroscopies, CHN analysis, mass spectrometry, and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The prepared complexes have been tested for catalytic activity in ethylene oligomerization. © 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
